Redwings we’re back in league action after a few weeks of not having a league game.

Redwings started on the front foot and looked for an early breakthrough. A few minutes into the game redwings win a corner that sparks manage to clear but straight to Oscar who left footed from the edge of the box through the keeper to make it 1-0 to redwings after 5 minutes.

Redwings continue to push forward and leads to another corner. William takes and sparks clear but straight back and a great cross from William and good header at far post from Cameron into the net to make it 2-0 redwings.

Sparks can barely get out of their own half at this point and William beats two players with ease puts in another great cross and Charlie pokes home at far post making it 3-0 finishing smartly.

Redwings are playing with great confidence and an example of this was from their own goal kick where Jayden passed to Kyran then Thomas onto Charlie that nearly leads to a great goal starting from the back.

Sparks come forward and win a corner but Redwings break and Oscar goes past a defender and beats another one to place the ball in the bottom corner and it’s 4-0 redwings after an impressive and dominant first 15 minutes.

Sparks get an extra player at this point but still don’t manage a shot on goal and redwings midfield and defence keep them at bay.

Second half starts and game is more even with sparks man advantage. Redwings continue to push forward looking for a fifth and Ashton has a shot from outside the area and a Sparks defender handballs in area and a penalty is awarded.

Ashton steps up to take, shoots low but Keeper saves well from the penalty and keeps it 4-0.

Sparks then have a good spell of pressure forcing a couple of good saves from Cameron. Good defending from Jayden, Thomas, Kyran and Ashton make sure that redwings keep another clean sheet.

Some good wing play from Leyton and unselfish play leads to Tyler dragging the ball around the defender and shoots but keeper saves well.

Redwings pepper their goal and shots from Oscar, Charlie and Leyton nearly lead to the fifth but their keeper who was as big as the goal kept them out.

Towards the end of the game an own goal by sparks player which was instant karma for kicking the ball at Kyran and fouling William throughout the game.

Redwings passing wasn’t as good after the first 15 minutes where they were really good but overall another good performance and another dominant win. Well played all.
