Fantastic achievement for the SYFC Flamingos U11 Girls.

On Sunday 22 August 21, the girls entered a 6v6 Tournament at the Havant & Waterlooville Stadium, home to Portsmouth Women FC games.

With a lack of U11 teams available to enter the competition, the girls stepped up a year and entered the U12’s age group.

Having battled their way past bigger, stronger and older opponents the Flamingos reached the final and won on penalties.

The girls were outstanding from start to finish. We’re all so proud of their achievement. Amazing - well done girls, a great start to the new season!!
